If you suffer an accident that results in a covered loss while riding in, entering, exiting, or operating a land or water vehicle (excluding when operating a vehicle for commercial hire), a benefit may be payable based on the type of loss experienced.

If reattachment is attempted but ultimately unsuccessful, no additional benefit is payable for a subsequent amputation of the same loss.
Travel Protection is an additional benefit included with AD&D coverage for eligible members.

If your cash or credit cards are stolen while traveling 250 miles or more from home, you may receive a cash loan of up to $100 to cover immediate needs. The theft must be reported to local authorities, and documentation is required.
If your covered vehicle is disabled due to a traffic accident 250 miles or more from home, you may be reimbursed for emergency living expenses of up to $50 per day for three days while repairs are being made.
